What is Verve Sketch?Verve Sketch is an application that works with Adobe® Illustrator® to provide a library of product styles and creative design reference data.
How much disc space is required? The application itself needs around 10 megabytes of disc space. The individual AI files range from 0.1 megabytes up to 4 megabytes. However all the style files are stored on the Verve Sketch servers and delivered via the internet as and when they are needed.
What if a customer doesn't have Adobe® Illustrator®?If a customer uses AI files but not with Adobe® Illustrator® then Verve Sketch will still operate with the rest of the Adobe® CS suit (assuming the application can open an AI file). Non Adobe® design software should still function subject to the software being able to open an AI file but please contact us to discuss. If a customer doesn’t currently use AI files for design then Verve Sketch is the perfect complement to rolling out Adobe® Illustrator® within the business. The image files can be delivered as vector PDF files which are readable in a number of commercial and open source vector drawing suites.
What is the status of intellectual property within the Verve Sketch drawings? The drawings in Verve Sketch are all copyright to Verve Sketch Software Limited, however the End User Licence Agreement grants corporate and educational customers a 12 month licence to use the drawings within their creative design process. Verve Sketch is also subject to a fair use policy and more information can be found within the End User Licence Agreement which can be obtained through contacting us below.
How does a customer obtain more drawings?Verve Sketch can be purchased in modules depending on which modules the customer requires. Each module is continually increasing in the number of styles and components available and so long as a customer has a valid licence they will automatically receive database updates periodically.
